Tales of the Trails brings the Old West to the Yakima Valley Museum. In a 45 minute program, set against the backdrop of covered wagons and historic objects, stories and songs, the Old West comes to life.

This year, storyteller Greg Harris portrays the "snake oil" salesman in a modified version of the old Medicine Show. This performance combines songs and stories, while teaching children about actual frontier medicine in a sharp contrast with the miracle cure.

Thanks to the sponsorship of the Yakima Sunrise Rotary Club, the event is free. Seating, however, is limited. Please contact the Yakima Valley Museum Education Department at (509)248-0747 to reserve your time.
