Right Here in Yakima
Beginning with the opening of the Opera House
in 1889, Yakima has hosted a wide variety of classical
performers who made one of the theatres of Yakima
a stop on their tours of the Pacific Northwest.
Performances by some of these top classical musicians,
such as Madame Schumann-Heink, from the 1880s
through the 1930s will be presented in a concert
format. |
