Museum Hours:
Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm, Sunday 11am to 5pm (open Mondays during the summer months)
The Children's Underground is open Tuesday through Friday from 1pm to 5pm, Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

Museum Admission:
Admission to the Yakima Valley Museum and Children's Underground is $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, children 5 and under are free, and families are $12; special group rates and tours are available.

Soda Fountain:
Hours: 10:00am-5:00pm Monday - Saturday
Summer hours are 10am-9:30pm Monday - Saturday
Winter closed

How to find us from downtown Yakima :
Follow Yakima Ave. west to 16th Avenue.
Turn left (south), four blocks to first traffic light--Tieton Drive .
Turn right (west), four blocks to Franklin Park , on the right, and the Yakima Valley Museum .

Gilbert House

The museum operates the nearby H. M. Gilbert Homeplace (2109 W. Yakima Ave--3 blocks from the museum). Built in 1898, this late Victorian farmhouse is now filled with period furnishings. The H. M. Gilbert Homeplace is open only by appointment. Admission is $2.50.

The Gilbert House opens the doors for special events throughout the year including A Victorian Christmas and the Victorian Picnic.
