Yakima Valley Museum
Tours and Scheduled Visits
Guided tours of the Yakima Valley Museum are available Monday through Friday, 9:30am - 4:00pm. The guided tour can also include time for constructive play in the Children's Underground. You may also schedule a group visit
to the Children's Underground before public hours Tuesday
- Friday.
Tours for your
class (approximately 25)
A guided tour of the museum, with a docent, highlights
the history of the Yakima Valley. Following your tour,
your class will visit the Children's Underground for
a hands-on experience with history. Allow approximately
1 hour.
Tours for two
classes (approximately 50)
The tour will be conducted in the same way as one class
except the time will be split equally between the Children's
Underground and the museum tour. One class will be touring
the museum while the other remains in the Children's
Underground. Allow approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes.
