Dressed for Success

Woman's "Men's-Wear" Gray Wool Suit
1932
Gift of Edith Riley

This suit is an example of a style that was to become classic. It also features an early use of a skirt zipper. This suit was made for the donor, a Cowiche native who worked for a new York Fashion house, when she sailed aboard the liner Majestic to attend the Paris fashion shows.
