Clothes that Capture an Era
The Flapper dress style showed women's legs for the first
time. In addition, sleeveless clothing was worn, for the first
time, during the day.
The raccoon coat is synonymous with prohibition and open topped
roadsters. Worn by young adult or college men, we can equate
its progressive youthful style to bellbottoms of the 1960s and
oversize clothing of the 1990s.
