Clothes that Capture an Era

Some items of clothing were so popular or fashionable that they help define the look of a particular period. The 1920s' flapper dress reminds many of the days of bootleg gin and Mary Pickford, whereas the flowered bell bottom trousers and peace symbol necklace remind still others of the Vietnam War-era protests of the late 1960s.
